Anti-Inflammatory Salad Dressing

At one point I was suffering from pretty bad inflammation fro fighting Lyme ad Epstein Barr Virus (obvious from the way I look in the video!!) So I went on a mission to use superfoods to help my healing process.

In a Vitamix/Blender/Food Process combine:

  • 1 to 1 ratio of Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Organic Apple Cider Vinegar. I typically use 2 cups of each so I have a lot to last me.

  • 1/2 Half of a medium red onion

  • 1 large garlic clove

  • Large chunk of fresh turmeric root (roughly 1 inch long--it's touch to be exact when using fresh ingredients)

  • Large Chunk of fresh ginger root (about twice the amount of the turmeric)

  • 1 tbsp Himalayan Salt or Unrefined Sea Salt

  • Black Pepper to taste (you need the black pepper to properly absorb the nutrients from the turmeric.)

  • If you like spice, add a hot pepper like a jalapeño or the "Slap Ya Mama" spice you see in the video.

Blend everything together and serve.
